Who we are?

Like you, Rebecca and Sam are tea and coffee lovers, respectively. At the same time, we love travelling.  Together as a couple, we have travelled to over 150 cities in around 40 countries (around half are in Europe). We combine these two experiences together and set up The Tea & Coffee Room, a specialty quality tea and coffee online shop.

How we started?

Tea and coffee distribution is mainly dominated by the largest distributors and supermarkets. You would find the product selection in Hong Kong is very limited.

As a Christmas gift for Rebecca, Sam purchased Ronnefeldt teas from an online shop in Europe. It takes quite some time and considerable amount of courier fee. This experience has inspired us to be a distributor of those tea and coffee products we love and share them in Hong Kong. 

The brands we represent

We have hand-picked two European brands, while their products are not readily available in Hong Kong. Each of them has their own history and character and been in operation for more than a century. We have visited their shops in Europe and been tasting their products for a number of years. Purely out of our passion to these brands, we have decided to distribute their products in Hong Kong. As an authorized distributor of these brands, we import the products directly from Europe.

• Ronnefeldt premium teas from Germany have/had proudly served in some of the best 5-star hotels in the world, including Conrad, Hilton, JW Marriott, Grand Hyatt and Ritz Carlton. It is a member of Ethical Tea Partnership.
• Caffè Vergnano from Italy offers authentic Italian coffee experience, in the style of capsules, pods, beans and ground coffee. All of their products are "Made in Italy".
